With this weeks course you can really enjoy running with your dog! Even though the course is pretty straightforward, you still may want to pay attention to your running lines. Your movement direction is the most efficient handling tool you have: Your dog will run in the same direction you are running. So choose your steps wisely! And the most important thing… remember to have fun!

Thanks for the lovely little setup Mari. We’re a very small club in Australia and I’m always looking for training exercises that involve 1 contact but not too much equipment setup. This was great. Easy to add a few other number combinations as well. A nice training night was had by all.

Mari, thank you for taking the time to create these sequences and do the video analysis. When I set up the course and ran it with my dog, I was really surprised how easily he carried out to the backside of 6. Since I wasn’t very mobile when we did this course, I found it necessary to use a threadle cue get him to the correct side of 6.
