Hi! I am sorry, that I haven’t post any videos lately: Vola’s hock had to be operated and the rehabilitation process is pretty slow, so Vola won’t be able to run agility in this winter. I would like to thank you for all your support, Vola’s rehabilitation has started very well and yesterday he get his bandage off.
But, let’s take a look at this course! In this course, timing is the key. There are lot’s of jumps from the backside, so you don’t want to rush: if you run too early, the dog may take the jump from the wrong side. However, you want to get ahead of the dog to be able to tell her what the next jump is! In the situations like that, it may sometimes be helpful to handle the jump from the take off side instead of sending the dog to back.

Hi Mari, I hope Vola is recovering according to plan. I just love the courses you post on this blog. I did run this course with both my dogs sunday, both did good but it was harder for me to get the timing right with my class 2 standard schnauzer Salsa than with my class 3 miniture schnauzer Venga. Unfortunately I forgot to ask my friend to film us… Afterwards I had my junior team to run the course as well. They thought it was really fun and they loved to train their handling and timing on the course. :)

Thank you for your comment!! :) Getting the timing right really requires knowing your dog very well so that you really can know when to leave and when to wait :) It’s nice to hear that juniors liked the course also!!
